Stellar Andrew Jackson Rye 2gal Alabama Jug
Description
Monumental 2gal Andrew "Jack" Jackson Rye (Born 1836 TN – Died 1910 Hamilton Alabama) Jug. This early two gallon lime glazed jug has strong lime runs through out the entire jug and is just outstanding. Circa 1860s and strong traits to Andrew. This is a scarce jug and only a few have turned up outside Hamilton Alabama area over the years. This is a must for the Alabama collector and when it comes to condition it don’t get much better than this one with a tight firing-stress line less than a inch long in lip. The jug is near mint and for the age, and is impressive addition to any collection. Standing 13" Tall
Condition: one with a tight firing-stress line less than a inch long in lip, nothing major or distracting.
