Scarce Crawford Co. Eddie Averett (1876-1928) Chicken Water. When it comes to forms this is a must for any southern collector. This example came off the family farm, from oral history. Circa 1895-1900s This poultry water has a slip glaze which was typical of the later pieces Mr. Averett was producing at this time. Has a finial top and bullet form & finial. Scarce form and is in overall near mint condition, investment grade example. Fresh from a middle Georgia collection. No major damage or chips, cracks or repairs. Standing 10" Tall
