Outstanding Washington County, Georgia Five Gallon Lucius Jordan (1782 – 1855) Double Handle Jar. Outstanding example of a Lucius Jordan double handle 5Gallon Jar with a beautiful earthy olive brown alkaline glaze, strong eye appeal and outstanding iconic form. This is one of the more iconic forms, jars out of Washington County, Georgia. This jar will fit very well in any southern pottery collection. As for the condition of the jar, it’s an excellent condition with typical insignificant rim edge wire one small chip no hairlines or repairs, a true fresh example. Standing 15 5/8 Tall
