Significant Four Gallon Washington County, Georgia "T" for Shimuel Timmerman on top of the lug handle. A significant example as this is only the second known signed "T" jar in existence. Timmerman started his career in South Carolina and then came into middle Georgia, finally settling in Lanier County, Georgia. This jar has a great iron wash glaze and it’s correct for the time when he would have been in route to South Georgia. A must-have for any Southern collector, this fresh to the market piece is in collector grade condition and basically is gem mint with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Simply find another one in this caliber of condition with the "T" stamp. You’ll travel many a mile before you find a shard, that’s even if you ever see a shard.
