Significant New Discovery Signed "F" Lanier Co. Foreman Shop Jar. This is a scarce example and only a few are noted with a script F or a stamped F mark. 1885-1890s time period. This has a great modified lime alkaline glaze that has a golden hues. The jar has stellar eye appeal with loop handles and flared rim treatment. The jar shows traces of old paint colors through its life. Condition, No damage or repairs. This truly wore a flea collar! Top shelf collector grade example. Simply find another one. Even if one has such a marked piece, it would be worthwhile to upgrade into this example. Will be very hard to upgrade from this jar, especially with double "F" marks. Fresh find from a west Florida collection. Standing 15" Tall
