Early 1840s Crawford County, Georgia Signed "JBL" Jesse Bradford Long (1808-1888 TX) Four Gallon Food Storage Jar with a heavy paint rock glaze. The jar is signed on the handle "JBL" in bold letters. The jar is a great early example and is one that shows very well. The jar was found in a middle Georgia plantation. No other damage or repairs. Fresh from a north Georgia collection. Standing 14 3/8" Tall
Condition: Condition has very good handle restoration that was done to museum standards. Fantastic color blending. Also a small rim chip restoration.
