Signed "NB" Nelson Bass (1846-1918) Catawba Valley North Carolina One Gallon Jug. Bass was in the Confederate Army and was wounded which would later in life eventually lead to his death. Fine example with a classic earthy green lime glaze with nice pearls (quartz) all over the jug body, and has NB stamped into the handle and is an outstanding condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. Fresh collector grade example standing
