Rare Buncombe County North Carolina Edward Stone (1817-1865) Pint Pitcher that is stamped STONE at base and is filled in by the glaze but you can just make out one some of the letters and you can feel them with your finger when run across. This piece has a stellar heavy flint and feldspathic glaze that is very eye appealing with heavy mottling of colors and the condition is near mint with only one glaze flake in the rim, very insignificant. No cracks or repairs. Late 19th century Fresh from a Georgia collection. Standing 3 1/4" Tall
Condition: Near mint, one glaze flake in the rim. No cracks or repairs.
