Mint Edgefield South Carolina 4gal JarStunning Edgefield, South Carolina Storage Jar Circa 1840’s Slave made, with outstanding form and a glaze that is second to none. The jar is no doubt by a master potter with form and heavy weight and very solid lug lifter handles. The glaze is just "Stunning" with a fine alkaline rich medium earthy brown base with strong of what looks to be paint rock type glaze on the front side that is black in color. The jar is four gallons in size and has No repairs, chips or cracks. Standing 14" Tall
Condition: Mint, no repairs.
