Fine Washington Co. Georgia One Gallon Preserve Jar Circa 1840-50s. The jar has a outstanding form very indicative of the jars produced in the time period in Washington County Georgia. The jar strongly points to Lucius Jordan shop and is unsigned. Glaze is outstanding. Condition is collector grade and has a small firing line in rim 1 3/4" long and is tight. Jar rings true and is a true gem for early Georgia stoneware. No chips, hairlines or repairs. Standing 10" Tall
