Fine 1880s Crawford Co. Georgia Batter Bowl. One of Crawford County most sought after utilitarian forms the Batter Bowl, this example is sure to please the eye in all walks. The bowl is more than likely a match to the coffee boiler that is in the lot before this one. The bowl and boiler are more than likely from the same glaze batch and from early Merritt shop. This is a true collector grade example and both are from the same estate and collection. The bowl is 4 3/4" Tall x 11 1/2" Wide and just shows very well. Condition is very nice with typical wear small chip in the inner rim, nothing major or distracting. Investment grade example.
