This is a premium collector grade example with exceptional penmanship and a slip glaze to match. Louis Zapp, a German born immigrant had a business plan that stood out among the crowd. His jugs embodied his name and caught the eye of patrons. Louis Zapp truly cornered the market in the advertising of his liquor and wine endeavors up until his death in 1930. Standing 10 3/4" Tall.
