Fine Early W. R. Addington (1849-1900) Shop Double Handle Sorghum Jug of Jackson County Georgia circa 1880s and has one of the most sought after forms in southern stoneware the double handle sorghum jug. The jug bears a striking salt over slip glaze that just is stunning with no kiln drips, which points to this being one of the early examples. The jug has everything one would want from form to glaze and stellar condition. Fresh example from a North Carolina collection. No chips, cracks or repairs. Standing 18 1/4" Tall
