Scarce 1830-40’s White Co. Georgia Craven Two Gallon Jug. This is a very scarce example of antebellum stoneware jug form North Georgia. Classic strap handle that has a strong grooved middle ridge and that follows through the handle. The jug has a tapered lip to forty five degree and points to early Craven family. Condition is overall very good for the age and use, has a few rim chips and one on the handle. No cracks or repairs. Fresh examples from North Georgia collection. Standing 15" Tall
