Fine Two gallon White Co. Georgia Tarplin Joseph Dorsey (1847-1925) Fluid Jug Circa 1880s. This is an outstanding example of a two gallon jug with a rich earthy green alkaline lime glaze that has a major piece of iron that runs down half of the jug that gives just strong charm. The jug is classic strap handle with tooled spout. Also has two concentric ring marks for gallon capacity. Condition is collector grade with only one small nick in the spout edge. No cracks or repairs. Standing 14 1/2" Tall
