Important Union Co Georgia Canning Jar made by potter J.A. Jones made at Young Cane in Union Co. Georgia. This is a stellar example and is strongly attributed to J.A. Jones based off the only known signed piece and is identical to glaze form and heavy lumps in the clay due to the clay not being milled properly. Rare canning jar and has a great alkaline glaze and highly significant example. Condition, basically mint with no repairs. Fresh example standing 9 1/4" Tall
