Rare (Late) Bobby Ferguson Devil Face 3gal Jug #8, marked on the handle thumb print terminal also marked 1989 in beard hair. This is one of the best Devil face jugs to come out of Georgia and the south for that matter. The classic folk tradition goes back over one hundred years in the Ferguson family to their roots in Edgefield South Carolina. This jug carries that tradition in the details of the Ferguson details of southern folk pottery. The jug is classic green glaze and is in mint condition and has outstanding details. The jug is fresh from the Duluth estate and stands 13 1/2" Tall
