Edgefield South Carolina Landrum Jug circa 1840-50s, slave made. This one gallon jug is has a nice alkaline glaze with nice runs with a nice cone top rim treatment. Classic handle typical of the Landrum shops enslaved potters. This jug was found in a barn in Commerce Georgia and is a great study piece with damage to the bottom of jug where it was re glued. Overall a nice shelf example. Fresh to the market and standing 9" Tall
