1880’s Dorsey Four Gallon Churn of Mossy Creek District, White County Georgia. This is a fine example of Tarp Dorsey four gallon churn with classic loop handle lug lifter handle. The churn was found in a old smokehouse in White County. The churn has had one chip just above the handle that was a old repair and truly is not distracting at all. Has a rich dark alkaline green glaze with nice light lime spots. Fresh example standing 17" Tall
