Description
1880s North Carolina 2gal Storage Jar, with a strong earthy green olivine alkaline glaze with some light kiln oxidation. This is a great example and has strong form and character, great lug handles and a grooved rim where a string you could tie around for preservation. Condition is overall outstanding with a kiln kiss, two minor glaze flakes on the lug handle and nothing major. The jar is fresh example with No repairs, no major chips, a water tight firing line, rings true. Fresh example standing 11 1/4" Tall
