Important 1gal Rye Signed ET & LE Canning Jar
Description
Important Alabama Rye Signed Canning Jar signed ET & LE. This is a great lime glazed canning jar that is the only known example with these signature on pottery from the Rye shop. Great example and is with out a doubt a museum quality example. The jar has a very nice lime glaze and on the back side it has a 2 scratched in the middle of the jar, clearly not two gallon in size. This has been in a private collection and is fresh to the market. Condition is basically mint with one small inch drying line in the rim, see pictures. Please note this is not a hair line crack. No chips or repairs. Standing 10 1/4" Tall
