Fine Three Gallon Edgefield, South Carolina Pottersville Double Handle Jug from the 1820-30s time period, slave made with a 3 scratched into the shoulder of the jug. This jug has a classic glaze and form for the Edgefield district with a tooled rim. Condition, has one handle restored done to musuem standards with stellar color blending. Tight stress line restoration and the jugs rings true. Standing: 13 3/8" Tall
