Scarce Decorated Three Gallon Crawford Churn Merritt Shop possibly Billy or Emmett Merritt. Extremely rare example that is decorated from Crawford County, this churn is decorated with what appears to be an arch window with a beautiful earthy olive brown mature alkaline glaze. Decorated examples from Crawford County are extremely sought after and do not surface often. Very desirable piece among collectors and this example is in collector grade condition with a few insignificant glaze flakes around the realm and the lug handle areas. No cracks or repairs present. A truly scarce example that will make a fine addition to any stoneware collection. Standing: 13 1/4 tall
