Fine Crawfrod County, Georgia Signed "JHL" John Henry Long (1877-?) Quart Jug. This is a fantastic example of John Henry Long’s quart size jugs that are highly desirable. This example bears a strong "JHL" stamp on the handle and has a fantastic lime alkaline glaze with fantastic eye appeal. This is a collector great example and desirable due to the quart size. Condition: one in significant inner lip chip and no weather condition issues or repairs present. This example will make a fantastic addition to any Crawford County or southern stoneware collection. Provenance: pressure the market example from a 40-year plus private southern pottery collection. Standing: 7 1/8" Tall
