Lot 60:
Fine Crawford County Georgia Signed "WB" Washington Becham Three Gallon Jug. This is one of the most sought after Georgia potters and the form shows just why he is. The early classic beehive shape has strong eye appeal and a warm handsome glaze again makes for a great example. Strong "WB" stamp on handle and some nice glaze crawling on the handle & a nice finger prints at base. Highly sought after example and will only go up in value due to scarcity and stellar condition. Condition the jug has two glaze flakes not even 1/4" of a inch wide. Honestly nothing to worth mentioning but we will. No cracks or No Repairs. Fresh example from a Georgia collection and is first time offered for sale. It just doesn’t get any better for glaze, form, signature, collector and investment grade example. Standing 12 1/2" Tall x 8 1/2" Wide at Base.
Condition: Condition, Collector Grade example – the jug has two glaze flakes not ever 1/4" of a inch wide. Honestly nothing to worth mentioning but we will. No cracks or No Repairs.
