Fine Andrew James "Jimmy" Rye (1869-1952) Alkaline Glazed 3-gallon Syrup Jug. This example from the late 1800s from Marion County Alabama has been documented and photographed by the Birmingham Museum of Art located in Birmingham AL. The documentation was recorded on 6/3/1986 and reference number 2735, this tag will accompany this example. Exceptional glaze, classic Jimmy rye form with the original corn cob stopper in this example it just shows strong eye appeal that is in collector grade condition no chips cracks or repairs. This example will be extremely difficult to upgrade from due to strong eye appeal and strong glaze runs. A Cagle Top Shelf Example.
